The Vision
At MCPA we LOVE performing and we are dedicated to sharing our love of performance with everyone…
Opening in 2019, we are a company that hopes to inspire our students to embrace their love of performance. We want every student to have access to strong technical training that supports their personal development. This personalised approach gives our students the confidence to express themselves in a supportive and positive environment!
Whether your child is three and loves movement, or you are 53 and eager for a new challenge, we welcome everyone who is determined to embrace the love of performing.
At MCPA we want to dream, motivate and move with you; encouraging everyone to find their home and themselves in performing arts. All our staff share the same vision of building a strong foundation; beginning with friendship, trust and mutual respect between all our families and performers. That foundation is strengthened by the careful delivery of safe teaching methods, implementing appropriate progressions for each performers stage of development. Beyond that, we nurture an environment of positivity and determination to encourage self-expression and the pride of achieving your goals!
Each student is empowered as we highlight your strengths and celebrate as you develop through challenges. A strong focus on safety through the development of accurate technique, self-awareness and consideration for peers allows for a well-rounded theatrical education.
“All of our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them” – Walt Disney
Every teacher at MCPA is here because we love what we do, and we want you to love what you CAN do!
Meet the Team

Director
Murphy Ireland
Growing up as a gymnast I have always loved being upside down! I began teaching gymnastics at age 15 and at 19 I began dancing and performing.
Certifying as an Acrobatic Arts teacher in 2016, I have been teaching all ages of Acrobatic Dance since. The spectacle of combining beautiful dance technique with acrobatics and contortion highlights the absolute best of a dancers strength and flexibility. Seeing the pride and confidence that comes from students achieving their goals (the big "I DID IT" smile) is why I love to teach Acro!

Teacher
Aleisha Francis
Starting dance when I was 4 years old, I have trained in Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Ballet and Contemporary.
At the age of 8 I started competing in local competitions in Troupes, Duos and Solos, as well as completing SACE stage I & II in dance. I have also had the opportunity to perform in musicals and undertake CSTD dance exams in both Jazz and Tap.
At age 14 I began assistant teaching. Dance and performing has always been a massive passion of mine and I love to share that with young dancers. I’m very excited to be on the team at MCPA and watch the students develop into confident young performers.

From starting dance at the age of 2 and singing at the age of 4, performing has been an huge passion of mine. I have completed exams in multiple dance syllabi including the British Ballet Organisation, Cecchetti and Jazz Addict. I have also performed in musicals, alongside Hugh Jackman, performed in China while representing Australia and with the Australian Classical Youth Ballet.
I have my Cert 4 in Dance and have completed the Educator ToolKit by Vocalab. Being able to share my passion for the performing arts with others and seeing students reach their goals, have fun and have an opportunity to perform is why I love teaching.
